Our Business

May & Associates, Inc. was founded by John P. May, P.S., P.E. in February of 1999.   Our business has grown significantly in recent years.  We are proud to have such a reliable team of employees to help you.  Our staff has certifications in Concrete Field Testing and Density Testing.

We are a certified Hub-Zone Small Business.

President

John P. May, P.S., P.E. Professional Surveyor No. 43061, Professional Engineer No. 50689 and Certified Federal Surveyor No. 1018.  John is a graduate of Ferris State University who worked for several years in Alaska for the Bureau of Land Management gaining experience in his field. Jeremy R. Card, P.S. Professional Surveyor No. 47947. Jeremy is a graduate of Ferris State University who gained many years of experience in surveying for the U.S. Marine Corp. You can contact him directly at jcard@michigansurveys.com

May & Associates, Inc. is unique because we keep our licensed professionals on the ground involved directly with the projects.  You can rest assured that the surveyors that you discuss your project with are the ones directly involved with or in the field performing the work.

Our helpful and friendly team includes:

Jon Arleth - Project Manager- Jon is the newest addition to May & Associates, Inc. staff.  He recently graduated from Ferris State University earning a degree in Surveying Engineering. Jon has sucessfully passed the SIT (Surveyor in Training) national test.

Terry Campbell - Project Manager- Terry has nearly 4 years of experience with May & Associates.  He is currently attending Ferris State University pursuing a degree in Surveying Engineering.

Christopher Nelson - Engineering Tech I- Chris has 6 1/2 years of experience with May & Associates. Chris is certified for density and concrete testing.

Chad Miller - Survey Tech I- Chad has 2 years of experience with May & Associates.
